Oflo Ophthalmic Solution belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid. 

Oflo Ophthalmic Solution contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.

Use Oflo Ophthalmic Solution as prescribed by your doctor. Oflo Ophthalmic Solution is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Oflo Ophthalmic Solution for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Oflo Ophthalmic Solution do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Oflo Ophthalmic Solution or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Oflo Ophthalmic Solution should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Oflo Ophthalmic Solution. Drive only if your vision is clear as Oflo Ophthalmic Solution may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Oflo Ophthalmic Solution.
