About Esta 0.375mg Vaginal Spray

Esta 0.375mg Vaginal Spray belongs to a group of medicines called hormone replacement therapy indicated in the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy due to menopause. Vaginal atrophy occurs due to a drop in the levels of oestrogen that naturally happens after menopause. It causes dryness and irritation in the vagina.

Esta 0.375mg Vaginal Spray contains ‘estradiol’, which works by replacing the oestrogen, which is normally produced by the ovaries. Thus, it provides relief from discomfort in the vagina.

In some cases, Esta 0.375mg Vaginal Spray may cause common side effects such as headache, stomach pain, vaginal bleeding, discomfort or discharge, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop using Esta 0.375mg Vaginal Spray and consult a doctor if you notice jaundice, a large rise in blood pressure, migraine, if you become pregnant or if you notice any signs of a blood clot such as sudden chest pain, difficulty breathing, painful swelling and redness of the legs. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects/interactions.
