Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule Substitute

Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule is a combination of two drugs, namely: Ilaprazole and Domperidone. Ilaprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid production. Domperidone works by increasing the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. Together, Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule helps in treating acidity related problems.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule . Drink enough fluids and eat fibre rich food if you experience diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if you experience excessive diarrhoea or if you find blood in stools.

Avoid lying down immediately after meals to prevent acid reflux. Raise the head of the bed 10-20cm by putting a pillow so that the head and chest are above the waist. This helps in preventing acid reflux.

Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule . Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.

Do not take Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve even after taking Ilpa-DSR 10 mg/30 mg Capsule for 7 days.
